To Whom It May Concern:
Mr. Jason Krug has requested that I submit a letter of recommendation on his behalf. I am pleased to do so. I have known Jason for more than three years through his involvements on campus. He has served on the University Dining Committee, served as Vice President of the Student Association, served on Student Senate, and he is currently working on a special dining services project for our unit.
Jason was the Student Association Vice President during the 2011-12 academic year. We met weekly with the Student Association President and another adviser. This time was spent planning meetings and discussing goals and the dynamics of the organization. In Jason’s role he chaired meetings, appointed committee members, and worked with the senators on legislation. He communicated well with the senators and exhibited excellent listening skills. By the end of the year, Senate meetings were run efficiently while insuring that all voices were heard.
Jason served as a member of the New Student Center Planning Committee in 2011-12. There were a number of student members on this committee, but Jason and the Student Association President were the only consistent student attendees. In this environment, Jason did an excellent job being heard regarding student needs within the facility.
Jason is one of the few students with whom I will always enjoy talking. He has developed career goals for himself and his involvements on campus are assisting him in reaching these goals. Jason is well organized and manages his time well. He is intelligent, yet practical, and exhibits this well-rounded education in his everyday life.
I highly recommend Jason Krug for any position that requires leadership, communication, maturity, and sensitivity to others.
Sincerely,
